Each day Galaxie Kids will have a series of 50 min classes focusing on fine art, language studies, martial arts, theater, dance, music, aerial arts, and plenty more.
Every week of Galaxie Kids Art Camp is unique in the specific applications of the art forms. Each day is designed to include a combination of physical and visual creative arts, snack and play time, and independent project time.
Each day, weather permitting the students will take a trip to a near by park for lunch and outdoor play time.
Registration is still open, with limited spots for all weeks.

This is the fourth year that the Galaxie is proud to bring together some of the city's most talented and innovative working artists to guide young minds and bodies toward artistic goals. Galaxie Art Camp is carefully orchestrated to balance tactile, physical, rhythm and fine art forms into a day that encourages inspiration and prompts physical participation.
The Galaxie environment is an 11,000 square foot space with a variety of small studios designed with particular disciplines in mind. Students spend time in between classes in our main space, eating lunch together at our long communal table, playing games, drawing, dancing, playing piano or swinging to and fro on our in-house tire swing.
Students are introduced to our artists-in-residence as they walk through the main space on their way to studio. Often times the students are invited to put on a pair of safety glasses and watch the glass blower work, and in one case we were invited to not only watch a Blueman Group rehearsal, but invited to play a rhythm with them!
We guarantee you won't have to ask what your kids did that day, they won't be able to stop talking about it! |
